Welcome
Dear Mustang Families,
I am both thrilled and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Manoa Elementary School. Since beginning my career with the School District of Haverford Township in 2008, I have served as a teacher, an Assistant Principal at Haverford High School, and most recently as the Supervisor of Elementary Special Programs.
Growing up in Pilgrim Gardens, I am intimately familiar with the community pride that exists in Haverford Township. While some of you may recognize me from the time I spend cheering on the Fords with my family or from attending school meetings, I am eager to further deepen these connections as I step into my new role. Effective collaboration between our school and community is key to creating an environment where students excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
I look forward to getting to know the families of the Manoa community as I transition to this new role and to sharing more about myself as we work together. My husband and I have three boys, ages four, six, and eight. We love spending time at the beach, hiking, exploring new playgrounds, and cheering on our Philadelphia sports teams as a family. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from East Stroudsburg University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Scranton, and this spring, I completed my Doctorate of Education at St. Joseph’s University.
Soon, I will share details about welcome-back events—an opportunity to meet, discuss your aspirations for our school, and start the school year on a fun note. I strongly encourage you to attend and introduce yourself. Together, we can leverage our community's strengths and uphold the highest standard of education at Manoa. I am excited to begin this journey with you and anticipate a wonderful school year ahead.
With Manoa Pride,
Dr. Natalya Adelizzi
